Hagaribommanahalli, Sep. 5: Teachers’ Day was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hagaribommanahalli.
- Rania, a Class 10 student, spoke about the childhood of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and said, “Radhakrishnan was born in Thiruthani, Tamil Nadu. Despite facing many challenges of poverty in his childhood, he completed his education with the help of his immense intelligence and scholarship.”
- Maithri, speaking about Radhakrishnan’s life achievements, said, “He worked as a professor of philosophy and served in many prestigious institutions, including the University of Mysuru. He made great contributions to the country as the first Vice President of India and the second President. He was honoured with India’s highest award, the ‘Bharat Ratna’.
- The Principal, Sri Ranganatha, remembered the life achievements of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and praised all the teachers.
- Teachers were honoured by the students with a memento.
- A special lecture was organised on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. Sri Keshav, the Divisional Officer of the Ballari branch of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, arrived as the chief spokesperson and addressed the teachers and said, “If the culture of our country is preserved, the country will survive. This is possible only through practice. When children continue the practice continuously, the future of the country will change. Just as a mother can correct the mistakes of children at home, in the same way, we see the influence of the teacher more in children. Therefore, the role of the teacher is important in developing the capabilities of children.”
ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿ, ಸೆ. 5: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
- 10ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿ ರಾನಿಯಾ ಡಾ. ಸರ್ವೆಪಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಧಾಕೃಷ್ಣನ್ ಅವರ ಬಾಲ್ಯ ಜೀವನದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ “ರಾಧಾಕೃಷ್ಣನ್ ಅವರು ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ತಿರುತ್ತಣಿಯೆಂಬಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಿಸಿದರು. ಬಾಲ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲವು ಬಡತನದ ಸವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಿದರೂ, ತಮ್ಮ ಅಪಾರ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿವೇತನದ ನೆರವಿನಿಂದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು”ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಳು.
- ಕು. ಮೈತ್ರಿ ರಾಧಾಕೃಷ್ಣನ್ ಅವರ ಜೀವನ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತಾ “ಅವರು ತತ್ತ್ವಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದ ಪ್ರೊಫೆಸರ್ ಆಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿ, ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಭಾರತದ ಮೊದಲ ಉಪರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿಯಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಎರಡನೇ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿಯಾಗಿ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಭಾರತದ ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ‘ಭಾರತರತ್ನ’ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಳು.
- ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀರಂಗನಾಥ್‌ ಅವರು ಸರ್ವೆಪಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಧಾಕೃಷ್ಣನ್ ಅವರ ಜೀವನ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶಂಸಿಸಿದರು.
- ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸವಿನೆನಪಿನ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಿದರು.
- ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ವಿಶೇಷ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ವಕ್ತಾರರಾಗಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕ ಸಂಘದ ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ ವಿಭಾಗದ ವಿಭಾಗ ಕಾರ್ಯವಾಹರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೇಶವ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ “ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿದರೆ ದೇಶ ಉಳಿಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದು ಆಚರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸಾಧ್ಯ. ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಆಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದಾಗ ದೇಶದ ಭವಿಷ್ಯ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಾಯಿ ಯಾವ ರೀತಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ತಪ್ಪುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿದ್ದಿ ತೀಡಬಲ್ಲಳೋ ಅದೇ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ಗುರುಗಳ ಪ್ರಭಾವವನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಾಣುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ವೃದ್ಧಿಸುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಪಾತ್ರ ಮಹತ್ವದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
