Hagaribommanahalli, Jan. 12: A Viveka Smarane was organized herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra -Hagaribommanahalli on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary. Sri Sridhara Swamigal, an intellectual leader from Bengaluru and a prominent figure in the South-Central region, arrived as the chief speaker for the program. He said, “Swami Vivekananda was a great monk, thinker and pioneer of India. He possessed the qualities of intelligence, courage and introspection from childhood. He adopted the path of self-knowledge and devotion as a disciple of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. He brought global respect to India with his historic speech at the World Conference of Religions in Chicago, America in 1893. His opening words, “Brothers and sisters”, attracted the attention of the world. He introduced Vedanta, tolerance, human unity and religious harmony to the world. Swami Vivekananda founded the Ramakrishna Mission in 1897. Through this organization, he gave a new direction to education, health, service and social upliftment. His message of “Stand up, do not stop until you reach the goal” was a great inspiration to the youth. Swami Vivekananda’s life achievements are still filling the youth with self-confidence, patriotism and a sense of service. His ideals are the soul power of India. “They are always shining as symbols,” he said. Children of the pre-primary section of the school performed as Sarada Mata, Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, and Swami Vivekananda.
ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿ, ಜ. 12: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ -ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಜಯಂತಿಯ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ವಿವೇಕಸ್ಮರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ವಕ್ತಾರರಾಗಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನವರಾದ, ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಮಧ್ಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಬೌದ್ಧಿಕ ಪ್ರಮುಖರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀಧರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ “ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರು ಭಾರತದ ಮಹಾನ್ ಸನ್ಯಾಸಿ, ಚಿಂತಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಯುಗಪ್ರವರ್ತಕರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಬಾಲ್ಯದಿಂದಲೇ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತಿಕೆ, ಧೈರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಆತ್ಮಚಿಂತನೆಯ ಗುಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದರು. ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ಪರಮಹಂಸರ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಾಗಿ ಆತ್ಮಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಭಕ್ತಿಯ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. 1893ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮೇರಿಕಾದ ಚಿಕಾಗೋ ವಿಶ್ವಧರ್ಮ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಮಾಡಿದ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಭಾಷಣದಿಂದ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ತಂದರು. “ಸಹೋದರರೇ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹೋದರಿಯರೇ” ಎಂಬ ಅವರ ಆರಂಭಿಕ ಮಾತುಗಳು ವಿಶ್ವದ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆದವು. ವೇದಾಂತ, ಸಹಿಷ್ಣುತೆ, ಮಾನವ ಏಕತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಧರ್ಮಸೌಹಾರ್ದತೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರು ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದರು. ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರು 1897ರಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ಮಿಷನ್ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಆರೋಗ್ಯ, ಸೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಜೋದ್ಧಾರ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೊಸ ದಿಕ್ಕು ನೀಡಿದರು. “ಎದ್ದು ನಿಲ್ಲಿ, ಗುರಿ ತಲುಪುವವರೆಗೂ ನಿಲ್ಲಬೇಡಿ” ಎಂಬ ಅವರ ಸಂದೇಶ ಯುವಜನತೆಗೆ ಅಪಾರ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಾಯಿತು. ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಜೀವನ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳು ಇಂದು ಸಹ ಯುವಕರಿಗೆ ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸ, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಭಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸೇವಾಭಾವವನ್ನು ತುಂಬುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಅವರ ಆದರ್ಶಗಳು ಭಾರತದ ಆತ್ಮಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಪ್ರತೀಕವಾಗಿ ಸದಾ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುತ್ತಿವೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪೂರ್ವ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಶಾರದಾ ಮಾತೆ, ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ಪರಮಹಂಸರ, ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ವೇಷಧಾರಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
