Hagaribommanahalli, Aug. 29: National Sports Day was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra- Hagaribommanahalli on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Hockey Wizard Major Dhyan Chand. Shreya R.N, a student of class 10, gave an inspiring speech on the life and achievements of Major Dhyan Chand and stressed the need to emulate his values. Sri Madhukar, Head of Co-Scholastic Department, conducted the oath taking ceremony and instilled discipline and sportsmanship among the students.
