Hagaribommanahalli, June 17: Maharana Pratap Simha Jayanti was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hagaribommanahalli. Speaking to the students, Sri Mahesh, the social science teacher of the school, said, “Maharana Pratap Simha Jayanti is celebrated especially every year in different parts of the country. Maharana Pratap Simha was born in 1540 in Mewar, Rajasthan. He was a brave Rajput king and fought for freedom and self-respect throughout his life. He lived a difficult life even in the forests to protect the independence of his state, without bowing to the rule of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. He showed his bravery in the battle of Haldi Ghati in 1576. Although he was injured in this battle, he did not lose his courage. Maharana Pratap Simha’s life teaches us patriotism, courage and self-respect.” Speaking, Pradhanacharya Sri Ranganatha said, “Maharana Pratap Singh is one of the great heroes of our country. His life message always inspires us to walk on the path of truth and freedom.”
ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿ, ಜೂ. 17: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾರಾಣಾ ಪ್ರತಾಪ್ ಸಿಂಹ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಶಾಲೆಯ ಸಮಾಜ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಹೇಶ್ ರವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ “ಮಹಾರಾಣಾ ಪ್ರತಾಪ್ ಸಿಂಹ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿವರ್ಷ ದೇಶದ ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಮಹಾರಾಣಾ ಪ್ರತಾಪ್ ಸಿಂಹರು 1540ರಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜಸ್ಥಾನದ ಮೇವಾರ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ಧೈರ್ಯಶಾಲಿ ರಾಜಪೂತ್ ರಾಜನಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಾಭಿಮಾನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಜೀವನವಿಡೀ ಹೋರಾಟ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಮೊಘಲ್ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಚಕ್ರವರ್ತಿ ಅಕ್ಬರ್ ಅವರ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಗೆ ತಲೆಬಾಗದೆ, ತಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಲು ಅವರು ಅರಣ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹ ಕಷ್ಟಕರ ಜೀವನ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. 1576ರಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಹಳದಿಘಾಟಿ ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಶೌರ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಧೈರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಮಹಾರಾಣಾ ಪ್ರತಾಪ್ ಸಿಂಹರ ಜೀವನವು ನಮಗೆ ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿ, ಧೈರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಾಭಿಮಾನವನ್ನು ಕಲಿಸುತ್ತದೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಂಗನಾಥರವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ “ಮಹಾರಾಣಾ ಪ್ರತಾಪ್ ಸಿಂಹರು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದ ಮಹಾನ್ ವೀರರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರು. ಅವರ ಜೀವನ ಸಂದೇಶವು ಸದಾ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯದ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸುತ್ತದೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
