Hagaribommanahalli, Apr. 14: Ambedkar Jayanti was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hagaribommanahalli. Sri Anil Kumar Chhidri, President of Arya Vaishya Sangh, was the guest of honor for this program. The chief guest spoke and said, “Dr. Bhimrao Ramaji Ambedkar was a great social reformer, legal expert and architect of the Constitution of India. He was a great leader who preached the importance of equality, justice and education. He fought for social justice. He worked for the abolition of untouchability. He told everyone the importance of education. Ambedkar fought for the rights of Dalits, promoted equality and self-respect. He also supported the rights of women.”
ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿ, ಏ. 14: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆರ್ಯವೈಶ್ಯ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅನಿಲ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಛಿದ್ರಿಯವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ “ಡಾ. ಭೀಮರಾವ್ ರಾಮಜಿ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರು ಭಾರತದ ಮಹಾನ್ ಸಮಾಜ ಸುಧಾರಕರು, ಕಾನೂನು ತಜ್ಞರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂವಿಧಾನದ ಶಿಲ್ಪಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ಸಮಾನತೆ, ನ್ಯಾಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಸಾರಿದ ಮಹಾನ್ ನಾಯಕರು. ಅವರು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಟ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಅಸ್ಪೃಶ್ಯತೆ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲನೆಗಾಗಿ ಶ್ರಮಿಸಿದರು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ರವರು ದಲಿತರ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಟ ಸಮಾನತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಾಭಿಮಾನವನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸಿದರು. ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಗೂ ಬೆಂಬಲ ನೀಡಿದರು” ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
