Hagaribommanahalli, Jan. 24: Ratha Saptami was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hagaribommanahalli. Speaking about the importance of Aditya Hridaya Stotra, the uniqueness of Ratha Saptami and the steps of its celebration, Sri Girish Bhat, a Sanskrit teacher of the school, said, “We should worship the Sun, who is the lord of all the splendors of the world, the cause of all the seasons, and the witness of the deeds of all the living beings in the world. In the view of Indian knowledge, the Sun is not just a burning sphere, but he is the cause of the development of all living beings. The Sun sits on the seven horses and moves on its journey from the south to the north.”
ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿ, ಜ. 24: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ -ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಥಸಪ್ತಮಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಶಾಲೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಗಿರೀಶ್ ಭಟ್ ಅವರು ಆದಿತ್ಯ ಹೃದಯ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರದ ಮಹತ್ವ, ರಥಸಪ್ತಮಿ ವೈಶಿಷ್ಟ್ಯತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಚರಣೆಯ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ “ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ತೇಜಸ್ಸುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯು, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಋತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣಕರ್ತನು, ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜೀವಿಗಳ ಕರ್ಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷೀಭೂತನು ಆದ ಸೂರ್ಯನನ್ನು ನಾವು ಆರಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಭಾರತೀಯ ಜ್ಞಾನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂರ್ಯ ಕೇವಲ ಉರಿಯುವ ಗೋಳ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಸಕಲ ಜೀವರಾಶಿಯ ವಿಕಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು ಕಾರಣಕರ್ತ. ಸೂರ್ಯ ಸಪ್ತಾಶ್ವಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತು ತನ್ನ ಪಯಣವನ್ನು ದಕ್ಷಿಣದಿಂದ ಉತ್ತರದ ಪಥಕ್ಕೆ ಚಲಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
