Hagaribommanalli, Sept. 17: Kalyana Karnataka Day was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hagaribommanahalli. Smt. Padma Vitthal, Educational Coordinator, Sharada Vidya Mandir was the chief guest on the occasion. After the flag hoisting, she informed the students about the importance of the Kalyana Karnataka struggle. Mataji said, “History of Kalyana Karnataka: Despite the unification of Karnataka in 1956, the Hyderabad-Karnataka region did not have a special status. The area was later declared as Kalyana Karnataka and the sacrifice of these fighters was commemorated at the function. The students remembered the fighters and took a pledge to cooperate for the development of our Karnataka.
ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಳ್ಳಿ, ಸೆ. 17: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ -ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಶಾರದಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಮಂದಿರದ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪದ್ಮ ವಿಠ್ಠಲ್ ರವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣದ ನಂತರ ಇವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಹೋರಾಟದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಮಾತಾಜಿ ಅವರು “ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಇತಿಹಾಸ: 1956ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಏಕೀಕರಣವಾದರೂ, ಹೈದರಾಬಾದ್-ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪ್ರದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸ್ಥಾನಮಾನ ದೊರಕಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರ ಅಹರ್ನಿಶಿ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನದಿಂದಾಗಿ, 2012ರಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಪ್ರದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂವಿಧಾನದ 371(ಜೆ) ಕಲಂ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳು ದೊರಕಿದವು. ಈ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ನಂತರ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಎಂದು ಘೋಷಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರ ತ್ಯಾಗವನ್ನು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರ ಸ್ಮರಣೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ತಾವು ಸಹಕರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ಕೈಗೊಂಡರು.
