Hagaribommanahalli, Sept. 13: CBSE Board conducted a capacity building program on “Active Learning” herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hagaribommanahalli.
The program introduced teachers to several methods to make student learning more active, meaningful and effective. SMC Member Sri Arun Kumar Korgal, CBSE Certified Resource Persons, Jindal Adarsh Vidyalaya Teachers Sri Nasir Basha and Smt. Ambika Gowda of Chikkagowda participated in the inauguration.
Resource persons took the following periods.
Period 1: Active Learning Unveiled – Embracing Meaningful Engagement
During this period, the meaning of active learning, its necessity and the benefits that come from students’ active participation were explained.
Period 2: Engaging Strategies for Active Learning
At this stage, different strategies that teachers can use in the classroom were shared. The priority was given to learning through group discussions, practical activities, question and answer method, and games.
Period 3: Crafting the Path – Designing an Effective Active Learning Plan
In the last period, teachers practiced formulating active learning plans themselves. Creativity in classroom lesson plans, adaptation of student-cantered activities and methods of measuring learning outcomes were described.
Through this program, teachers brought about changes in their teaching approach and realized the way to engage students in learning more actively. Teachers from Hagaribommanahalli, Bellary and Davangere participated in the workshop.
ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿ, ಸೆ. 13: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ CBSE ಬೋರ್ಡ್ ವತಿಯಿಂದ “Active Learning” ವಿಷಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಕಲಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಸಕ್ರಿಯ, ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಹಲವು ವಿಧಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಸ್.ಎಂ.ಸಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಅರುಣ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಕೋರ್ಗಲ್ ಅವರು , ಸಿ.ಬಿ.ಎಸ್.ಇ ಪ್ರಮಾಣೀಕೃತ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಾದ, ಜಿಂದಾಲ್ ಆದರ್ಶ ವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ನಾಸಿರ್ ಬಾಷಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅಂಬಿಕಾ ಚಿಕ್ಕಗೌಡರ್ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.
ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳು ಈ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಅವಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡರು.
ಅವಧಿ 1: Active Learning Unveiled – Embracing Meaningful Engagement
ಈ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ಅರ್ಥ, ಅದರ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳುವಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಬರುವ ಲಾಭಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಅವಧಿ 2: Engaging Strategies for Active Learning
ಈ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ತರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳಸಬಹುದಾದ ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ತಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು. ಗುಂಪು ಚರ್ಚೆ, ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು, ಪ್ರಶ್ನೋತ್ತರ ವಿಧಾನ, ಆಟಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಲಿಕೆ ಮೊದಲಾದ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.

ಕೊನೆಯ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಸ್ವತಃ ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಕಲಿಕಾ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ತರಗತಿ ಪಾಠ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೃಜನಶೀಲತೆ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಿತ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಅಳವಡಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳೆಯುವ ವಿಧಾನಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮೂಲಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬೋಧನಾ ವಿಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಂದು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಕಲಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಅರಿತುಕೊಂಡರು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿ, ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.
