Hagaribommanahalli, July 22: Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hagaribommanahalli celebrated ‘Gurupurnima’.During the event, Sri Vinayak Bhat, the head of the school’s Sanskrit department, emphasized the significance of Guru Purnima.He mentioned that this day, which falls on the full moon of Shukla Paksha in Asadha month, is celebrated as Gurupurnima throughout India. He explained that a ‘Guru’ is someone who helps dispel ignorance and imparts knowledge. According to him, a ‘Guru’ can be the father who gave us birth, the one who conducted our Upanayana, the teacher who shared knowledge with us, or even someone who donates and protects others.Sri Vinayaka Bhat also highlighted that all knowledge in the world is attributed to Vyasa, who is considered a form of Vishnu.
The story of Upamanyu was shared during the celebration to illustrate the bond between a Guru and a Shishya by Sri Vinayaka Bhat.Sri Girish Bhat, the Sanskrit instructor, stated that Vedavyasa mastered the four Vedas and their sub-Vedas, organized the educational system into four divisions, and passed on this knowledge to his disciples. Vedavyasa ensured that this legacy of knowledge endures to this day.Smt. Bhuvaneshwari, coordinator of pre-primary section, explained the significance of Gurupurnima to the children of the primary section.

ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿ, ಜುಲೈ 22: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಗುರುಪೂರ್ಣಿಮೆ’ಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.ಆ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿನಾಯಕ ಭಟ್ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತ “ಆಷಾಢ ಮಾಸದ ಶುಕ್ಲ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಪೌರ್ಣಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಭಾರತದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಗುರು ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮೆ ಎಂದು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಯಾರು ನಮ್ಮ ಅಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಹೋಗಲಾಡಿಸಿ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಾರೋ ಅವರನ್ನು ‘ಗುರು’ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುತ್ತೇವೆ.ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಜನ್ಮ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ತಂದೆ, ಉಪನಯನ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರ ಕಲಿಸಿದವರು, ವಿದ್ಯೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಗುರು, ಅನ್ನದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡುವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಈ ಐದು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ‘ಗುರು’ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಈ ಪ್ರಪಂಚದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲ ಜ್ಞಾನವೂ ವ್ಯಾಸರಿಂದ ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು. ವ್ಯಾಸ ವಿಷ್ಣುವಿನ ರೂಪ” ಎನ್ನುತ್ತ ಗುರುಶಿಷ್ಯ ಸಂಬಂಧವನ್ನು ಉಪಮನ್ಯುವಿನ ಕಥೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
ಶಾಲೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಗಿರೀಶ್ ಭಟ್ ಅವರು “ವೇದವ್ಯಾಸರು ನಾಲ್ಕು ವೇದಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಉಪವೇದಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿತು, ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ನಾಲ್ಕು ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ಅವರ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಕೂಡ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಪರಂಪರೆ ಮುಂದುವರೆಯುವಂತೆ ವೇದವ್ಯಾಸರು ಮಾಡಿದರು” ಎನ್ನುತ್ತ ವೇದವ್ಯಾಸರ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಪೂರ್ವಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಕೋ- ಆರ್ಡಿನೇಟರ್ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಭುವನೇಶ್ವರಿ ಅವರು ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಗುರುಪೂರ್ಣಿಮೆಯ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
