Hagaribommanahalli, May 28: The birth anniversary of Sri Damodar Veer Savarkar was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra –
Hagaribommanahalli. On this occasion, Kumari Aishwarya, a social science teacher, spoke
inspiringly to the students about Savarkar’s life achievements and
explained about Damodar Veer Savarkar’s birth, his nationalist thoughts,
revolutionary activities, anti-British struggles and the difficult days spent
in the Andaman jail. He said that Savarkar was a great figure who had a
profound impact on the history of India as a writer, thinker and social
reformer.Later, Sri Sriranganath, the principal of the school, explained that
Savarkar played a significant role in instilling patriotism and cultural
awareness in the younger generation through his philosophy of
‘Hindutva’. He gave a message to the students to take inspiration from
the life of Savarkar and adopt patriotic values in their lives.

ರವರ ಜೀವನ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೇರಣಾದಾಯಕ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾ
ದಾಮೋದರ ವೀರ ಸಾವರ್ಕರ್ ರವರ ಹುಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದು ಅವರ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಚಿಂತನೆ, ಕ್ರಾಂತಿಕಾರಿ
ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು, ಆಂಗ್ಲರಾಜ್ಯ ವಿರೋಧಿ ಹೋರಾಟಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅಂಡಮಾನ್ ಜೈಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆದ
ಸಂಕಷ್ಟದ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಸಾವರ್ಕರ್ ರವರು ಬರಹಗಾರ, ಚಿಂತಕರು, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ
ಸುಧಾರಕರಾಗಿಯೂ ಭಾರತದ ಇತಿಹಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗಾಧ ಪ್ರಭಾವ ಬೀರಿದ ಮಹಾನ್ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀರಂಗನಾಥರವರು ಸಾವರ್ಕರ್ ರವರು ತಮ್ಮ ʼಹಿಂದುತ್ವʼ ತತ್ವದ ಮೂಲಕ ಒಂದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಭಾವನೆಯನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಯುವ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ
ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಅಸ್ಥಿತ್ವದ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹತ್ವಪೂರ್ಣ ಪಾತ್ರವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಸಾವರ್ಕರ್ ರವರ ಜೀವನದಿಂದ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ಪಡೆದು ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂದೇಶ ನೀಡಿದರು.
