Hagaribommanahalli Jan. 23: Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hagaribommanahalli celebrated ‘Veera Parakrama Divas’ on the occasion of Subhash Chandra Bose’s Jayanti. Sri Nagaraj B.T, Head of the English Language Department of the school, said, “Each and every message given by Subhash Chandra Bose for the freedom struggle had ignited the fire of struggle among the people. In it, the message ‘You give me blood, I will give you freedom’ made many people join the struggle for freedom even before independence.” Then, Sri Ranganath, the Principal of the school, gave a brief overview of Netaji’s life and struggle.
ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಜ. 23: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಭಾಷ್ ಚಂದ್ರ ಬೋಸ್ ರವರ ಜಯಂತಿಯ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ‘ವೀರ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮ ದಿವಸ’ವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಶಾಲೆಯ ಆಂಗ್ಲ ಭಾಷಾ ವಿಷಯದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ನಾಗರಾಜ ಬಿ.ಟಿ ಯವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ “ಸುಭಾಷ್ ಚಂದ್ರ ಬೋಸ್ ರವರು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಒಂದೊಂದು ಸಂದೇಶಗಳು ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋರಾಟದ ಕಿಚ್ಚನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಾಕಿದ್ದವು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ‘ನನಗೆ ನೀವು ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ, ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತೇನೆ’ ಎಂಬ ಸಂದೇಶ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲೇ ಅನೇಕ ಜನರು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿತ್ತು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀರಂಗನಾಥರವರು ನೇತಾಜಿಯ ಬದುಕು, ಹೋರಾಟದ ಸಂಕ್ಷಿಪ್ತ ಅವಲೋಕನ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದರು.
