Hagaribommanahalli, August 15: The 79th Independence Day was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hagaribommanahalli. Sri Basavanagouda, Secretary of the Hagaribommanahalli Rashtrotthana Sansthe, who arrived as the chief guest for the program, hoisted the flag and said, “Indians fought continuously to reduce the rule of the British. If India is to become a prosperous country by 2047, we must preserve and develop our culture and cultural heritage. We must act as if the body is not different from the country. Patriotism should be in our behaviour and expression.
“ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 15: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 79ನೇ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ಹಗರಿಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಬಸವನಗೌಡರು ಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿ, ಮಾತನಾಡಿ “ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷರ ಅಧಿಪತ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸಲು ಭಾರತೀಯರು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಡಿದರು. 2047ರ ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ಭಾರತ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾದ ದೇಶ ಆಗಬೇಕಾದರೆ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ, ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಪರಂಪರೆ ಉಳಿಸಿ ಬೆಳೆಸಬೇಕು. ದೇಹ ಬೇರೆಯಲ್ಲ ದೇಶ ಬೇರೆಯಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಪ್ರವೃತ್ತರಾಗಬೇಕು. ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿ ಎಂಬುದು ನಮ್ಮ ನಡವಳಿಕೆ ಅಭಿವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
